Cojami Zafu Pillow
The name Cojami Zafu Pillow translates to “Little Ojami.”
These petite meditation zafu pillows have a beanbag-like feel, reminiscent of the traditional Japanese toy otedama (called ojami in the Kyoto dialect), which inspired our Ojami collection. Among our zafu pillows, Cojami is especially popular for meditation and mindful sitting.
With its distinctive cube-like shape, Cojami delivers excellent support and stability, making floor sitting comfortable and well-balanced.
Available in two sizes, it is thoughtfully designed for both adults and children alike.
Coromi Zafu Pillow
The Coromi Zafu Pillow takes its name from the Japanese word corocoro (コロコロ), the onomatopoeia for rolling, and mi (ミィ), representing the number three. The name reflects the pillow’s three height options, which can be accessed by rolling it onto its different sides. This design allows the Coromi Pillow to suit your preferred height for meditation or other uses.
The Coromi Pillow also features a sturdy strap handle for easy portability and a concealed zipper underneath, enabling you to add or remove filling for further customization.
Ojami Cushion
The Ojami Cushion is our original creation, inspired by the traditional Japanese beanbag toy called otedama. It was designed to provide a more comfortable and relaxing sitting experience, while also offering excellent posture support.
As Takaokaya’s iconic piece of Kangu, the Ojami Cushion represents our dedication to comfort and craftsmanship. At a temple in Kyoto, Ojami cushions are used for exclusive Zen meditation experiences, bringing a quiet sense of balance and harmony to the space.
Utane Meditation Cushion
The Utane Cushion is one of our uniquely shaped designs. Its form mirrors the natural shape of the legs when sitting in the traditional cross-legged agura position on the floor.
If you are looking for strong support and stability from your meditation cushion, the Utane Cushion set may be the perfect choice. It is especially ideal for beginners who are not yet accustomed to sitting on the floor for extended periods.
Filled with buckwheat husk, it offers both firm support and comfortable adaptability, gently conforming to your body while maintaining stability.
Coro-Long Meditation Pillow
The Coro Long Meditation Pillow provides firm, stable support without collapsing — exactly what a bolster should do. Its square shape prevents rolling, while the densely packed filling offers structured yet comfortable elevation.
