Coro-Long Meditation Pillow
Quiet Support for Everyday Stillness — Meditate Anywhere
The Coro-Long Meditation Pillow is thoughtfully designed to provide stable, structured support — exactly what a bolster should do. Unlike traditional round bolsters, its square shape prevents rolling, ensuring steady support on the floor.
It offers firm yet comfortable elevation, helping you maintain proper posture throughout meditation and relaxation.
Both the inner pillow and cover have been carefully updated. The inner pillow features an opening with a funnel, allowing you to easily adjust the amount of filling to suit your preferred firmness and height. The removable cover is designed with an L-shaped zipper, making it easy to remove for washing. Fabric handles on each side add convenience for portability and on-the-go meditation.
Perfectly proportioned, the Coro-Long Pillow works beautifully under the head, neck, legs, or back — or anywhere additional stability is needed. Easy to carry, it supports your practice wherever you go.
Functional, versatile, and refined — designed to bring quiet support to your everyday moments of stillness.

This product contains either pipe or buckwheat husk filling. To maintain its quality, please follow these care instructions:
-
Hand wash only (Max 40°C): You may hand wash this item at a water temperature of 40°C (104°F) or cooler.
*Special Care for Tassels: If your product has decorative tassels (房), please handle them with care as they may break or come loose during washing. Even if a tassel is damaged or lost, the product remains safe to use. - Do not bleach. / Do not iron. / Do not dry clean.
- Very gentle professional wet cleaning is permitted.
- Do not tumble dry.
-
Hang dry in the shade: After washing, moisture tends to remain trapped inside the pipes. Please remove excess water thoroughly—for example, by wrapping the product in a towel and shaking it gently. Then, we recommend hanging the item to dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area.
*For Heavier Items: If your product is heavy due to a large volume of pipe filling, please ensure it is supported properly when hanging to avoid putting too much stress on the fabric or seams.
- Do not wash. Buckwheat husks must not get wet.
- Sun Drying: We recommend drying the product in direct sunlight for a few hours on a clear day. This helps evaporate moisture and dry the husks, which is effective in preventing dust mites, mold, and odors.
- For Products with Covers: We recommend removing the cover and focusing on sun-drying the insert (inner cushion) itself. The cover should be laundered separately according to its specific care label.
If this product comes with a removable cover, please refer to the care label with laundry symbols sewn inside before washing. Detailed explanations for each symbol are provided below:
Washing: Machine wash at or below 30°C using a very gentle cycle.

Drying: Do not tumble dry.
Drying: Line dry in the shade.
Ironing: Iron at a maximum temperature of 160°C (medium heat).

I had 2 customised pillow made with Takaokaya and they were really made to perfection. The pillows provided me with comfort and support for a good night's sleep. The high quality plastic pipe fillings conformed well to the shape of the head and neck, providing customised support and reducing pressure points. The cotton covers are also highly breathable, keeping the pillow cool and comfortable throughout the night. The staff at Takaakaya were super friendly and nice … they spoke fluent English and really provided excellent service to their customers. Look for Nanako / Karen , they were great !
Dear Lucas-san,
Thank you so much for your kind review and pictures ! It really made our day to hear that you find the pillows comfortable. We look forward to another opportunity to deliver Kangu to you and your family :)
Team Takaokaya,

I have 3 of these coro long pillows in the new updated design and 1 in the previous design from last year. I’m a bit obsessed with these because they do what bolster pillows are designed to do (but most fail at): prop you up without collapsing.
There are so many great details that I love:
- square instead of round, so they don’t roll off surfaces
-cover zips off easily for washing, yet also fits tight as a glove and looks great
-filling level adjustable, although i personally like how densely packed the new version comes
-hard pipe filling is rock solid yet comfortable, not noisy, and breathable too
-low profile handle to pick them up easily
-somehow the perfect size for everything: under the head/neck, sitting on, behind another pillow for extra support, etc.
This is an awesome and very informative review LC! Thank you so much for taking time to list down all the PLUS points of the Coro-long pillow! We can see why you love them and are so glad that you notice and appreciate these details of the pillows.
Happy Kutsurogi!
