Shiki Futon Mattress Cover

Shiki Futon Mattress Cover is made to be used together with our Shiki Futon Mattress. It is designed with pockets on the top and bottom of the sheet allows the Shiki Futon to be slipped in and out easily without much hassle, while the rubber elastic present in the bigger size covers is there to provide support despite the width. Each corner has a small opening easy access for the Shiki Futon to be fitted perfectly with the cover. It's entirely machine washable allowing for an easy cleaning process.

Takaokaya Shiki Futon Mattress Cover is specially designed with pockets on both ends to allow for the Shiki Futon to be slipped in and out without much hassle. The small openings at the side of the pockets allow you to adjust your Shiki Futon Mattress for a perfect fit. To clean, simply put the cover into the washing machine.

How to set up

The Shiki Futon Mattress Cover is designed with pockets on the top and bottom of the sheet allows the Shiki Futon to be slipped in and out easily without much hassle. Made in Japan, Futon, Cover, Removable, Washable.

Step 1

Spread cover on the futon.

Step 2

Slip the corners of futon into
the cover's pockets. Adjust futon
for the perfect fit through the holes on the side of the pocket. Elastic bands are added for the bigger-sized covers to provide support for the width.

Step 3

Smooth the cover over the futon and it’s ready!

Comfy covers

I ordered two Supima cotton covers - one black and one beige. They slip over the top of the futon like a partial pillowcase and don't cover the bottom of the futon, which was unexpected for me. It makes the process of fitting a cover on top of the futon very easy, though. I expect the covers will soften after washes and use, but as they are, they are very smooth and pleasant to the touch.

Great fit

Works well with my futon. I wish it was softer material.

Give it a few more washes with fabric softner and you should be able to enjoy the cover more. Or next time, you can request for a cover made with Souffle Gauze. :)
