Recently, with Matsuo-san and I receiving several requests in regards to cushions for meditation, it got both of us thinking, what are the benefits of meditation that so many people are practicing it. That got me into researching and writing today's blog post, dedicated to some of the benefits of meditation.
According to an article published by the
Harvard Medical School, mindful meditation can be beneficial for in abating psychological stress such as anxiety, depression, and pain. We also found out from an article called "
What meditation can do for your mind, mood, and health" that there are multiple different types of meditation, such as mindfulness meditation, concentration meditation, walking meditation, etc.
Upon reading the benefits of meditation, it made us want to try it out for ourselves and see what we can gain from it. Concerning our future project on meditation product release, we thought of the perfect experiment. While simultaneously testing our meditation product prototype, we would like to slowly incorporate the meditation lifestyle into our lives, which will allow us to put ourselves in the shoes of our customers. Seeing what improvements we might need to make on the products to make sure it is as comfortable and practical as possible.
With that, we thought we could document our experiment and share our results with you all, our customers. Please look forward to the future blog post on this topic.
