Very nice and confortable nap futon, it's actualy more thicker than i imagined, and the fabric is very beautiful. I plan to take the futon next time.

The fabric is beautiful and the overall quality is flawless. The mattress is quite compact and hence very practical to use. As far as the thickness is concerned, some extra filling may be an interesting option. This being said, it is a nap futon, so essentially meant for short periods of use.
Thank you P for giving the gorone nap futon 5*. Yes, extra filling is indeed an option but it might affect how the futon can be rolled up for storage. I hope the futon has been beneficial for power naps. :)

I was overjoyed to see the quality of the fabric covering and the color when the futon arrived. The fill is also like lying on cotton balls and is cloudlike, but even as someone who prefers mattresses considered too thin for American standards, I was left wishing Takaokaya could offer a double-thickness option at a higher price. I will certainly be reaching out to ask about a custom design for my next order as I am totally smitten with the fabrics they use.

For your information, the gorone nap futon is made for naps which is why we deliberately made it in that thickness, so that the users do not oversleep. Also, we want the nap futon to be portable, so if it's thicker, it will not be easy to carry it around.
If you love how the gorone nap futon feels and would like a thicker futon next, you can perhaps consider our Shiki Futon mattress. :) Or speak to us about making a customized futon - you can select the size, thickness and any fabric that we offer on online. We can even help source for a certain fabric you are interested in if we don't offer it.
