About Hikizome Linen
Hikizome (literally pull dyeing, from pulling a brush) is a traditional Japanese dye technique in which a bolt of
fabric is stretched tautly, before water and dye are applied one after and another, by hand with a brush.
Our Hikizome linen collection comes in 2 colours – Kamagawa Blue and Arashiyama Bamboo Green, both of which are inspired by Kyoto’s famous sightseeing spots.
Why is goronenap futon so special?
Refined craftsmanship is deeply ingrained in both the DNA of Kyoto and Takaokaya.
