Zabuton is a traditional Japanese cushion with nearly 1000 years of history. The zabuton was originally used to indicate status and was only used by people such as the emperor and members of the imperial court, or most revered of Buddhist monks, now, the zabuton has become a common item for the Japanese household. Our Kyoto zabuton is made true to the Kyoto Omotenashi hospitality traditions, but it has also been adapted to deliver great comfort and support.
